Digital Arts & Filmmaking
Are you a visual person who enjoys the creative process? The Digital Arts & Filmmaking program will help you get a jump start into an exciting career in digital media, including graphic design, animation, social media and film production. Students will be able to design and produce their own graphic materials and films, manage video libraries and social media. They will also be introduced to interactive marketing and the role that digital media plays in a successful marketing program.
Qualifying students will have the opportunity to job shadow and intern at local multimedia companies, design firms, TV stations and independent production companies. The program will provide students the opportunity to express their personal creativity while developing the ability to conceptualize story ideas and effectively translate these ideas in film productions, animations, graphic designs and websites.

Adobe Certification Opportunities: Dreamweaver and Photoshop
Pre-Requisites: Junior/senior standing. Returning students must have a B or better and instructor approval
Sessions Offered: AM Session is 8 to 10:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. PM Session is 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Length of program: 1-2 years

Equivalency Credits Available: 1.0 Visual Art, 0.5 Technical English 1 or 2, 0.5 English
Occupational/Elective Credits: 3 per year
College credits available: 10 credits at CBC or 2 credits Art Institute of Seattle
