Location: Tri-Tech Skills Center and off-site construction locations


Description: If you like to build things, the Construction Trades program may be right for you. Be part of the construction process at a residential worksite for Habitat for Humanity. The program provides a foundation in basic residential and commercial construction while preparing you for a successful career as a skilled craftsperson, construction manager, architect, or engineer.  In this program you will:

  • Learn worksite safety.
  • Learn to safely use hand and power tools.
  • Learn to read blueprints and understand building codes.
  • Work independently and in teams in all aspects of construction including framing, roofing, concrete, plumbing, and wiring.
