There is a $45.5 million state-funded project to modernize the original 66,000-square-foot section of the Tri-Tech facility built in 1981. During construction, which began in July 2025 and is expected to finish by the 2026–27 school year, seven programs will temporarily relocate to off-campus sites including the Fruitland Building and Columbia Basin College.
