Tri-Tech Skills Center is a partnership between Tri-Cities High Schools to offer advanced technical and professional training. This tuition-free training is available to all public, private and home-schooled students ages 16-20 in the area who have yet to receive a high school diploma.

Our goal at Tri-Tech is successful job placement or continuing education for all of our students.

Culinary Arts

Culinary Arts allows students to craft amazing and fun foods while learning about food safety and sanitation. This fast-paced program prepares students to work in restaurants, hotels and resorts, and provides the foundation for future careers as line cooks, chefs or restaurateurs.

Auto Body Technology

Auto Body Technology teaches students the skills needed to restore and refinish cars, trucks and other vehicles using modern welding, sanding and masking techniques. The program prepares students for various careers including automotive detailers, custom car builders and collision repair technicians.

Pre-Veterinary Technician

Students learn hands-on animal care, clinical procedures and veterinary terminology. They gain skills for entry-level veterinary jobs or higher education while getting hands-on experience with a variety of different animals.

Firefighting & Emergency Medical Services

Students learn structural and wildland firefighting, leadership, teamwork and emergency response. They use professional equipment, work with local agencies and can earn wildland firefighting and basic life support/first aid certifications.

Pre-Nursing

Pre-Nursing prepares students for entry into the healthcare field. Students learn nurse aide skills, medical terminology, anatomy and patient care with an emphasis on patient safety and infection control. Students also have the opportunity to do clinical rotations with local hospitals.

Pre-Electrical

Students learn about residential and commercial wiring, electrical codes, motor controls, blueprint reading and theory in a hands-on environment that prepares them for high-demand jobs in the electrical field. This program builds a strong foundation for students to enter apprenticeships and careers such as journeyman electrician, lineman or electrical engineer.
