Summer Academy

Registration opens May 5, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.

 

Summer classes are tentatively scheduled for June 15–July 2, 2026. Classes will be held Monday through Friday, from 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. We will offer a variety of in-person classes, and students may sign up for one class only. All high school students (incoming freshmen through seniors) are eligible to apply. Please note: Students may not miss more than one full day in order to receive credit. For additional questions about the Summer Academy, please call (509) 222-7300.

Summer Academy FAQ

  • Students need to be high school age, so incoming freshman through seniors.

  • A student may only sign up for one class. 

  • Tri-Tech Summer Skills Academy is free of charge.

  • Breakfast and lunch are served daily, free of charge.

  • All courses are a 0.5 occupational ed or elective credit unless otherwise noted below:

    • Digital Photography   0.5 Art Credit
    • Food & Fitness          0.5 Fitness Credit
    • Interior Design           0.5 Art Credit
    • Nutrition & Health      0.5 Health Credit

  • Students MUST be in class on the FIRST day to remain enrolled in the course

    Students may NOT miss more than one full day of class (seven hours) to remain in the course and receive credit.

    Three tardies to class = one absence 

    If a student does not withdraw from the class within the first five days, they will receive an F on their transcript.  Students must notify the teacher and Tri-Tech about their intent to withdrawal in the first five days of the course. After the first five days failure to show up is an automatic F.

  • If you are on apply, our registration website, prior to May 5, 2026 at 3p.m. there will not be any classes listed. If registration has opened and you still do not see any classes listed, edit the "Eligibility Questions" in your account settings on the Apply website and make sure you check 'Yes' to applying for summer academy.
