About Early Childhood Education
Have you thought about being a teacher? Do you like working with children? You would be perfect for Tri-Tech’s Early Education program. You will gain application- based experience with preschoolers in individual and group settings. You will be a teacher in our preschool and prepare our young students for their future. Internships available for qualified students.
For Grades: 11-12
Course Length: 1 or 2 years
Credit: .5 Technical English, 2.5 Occupational Elective
Prerequisite: None
Location: Tri-Tech Skills Center
Students Will Learn:
- Developmental stages of pre-school children.
- How to create age-appropriate lessons and how to work with young children.
- Work in the only laboratory preschool in the Tri-Cities area.
